This is going to be my first race at Daytona on a motorcycle with the race of champions. I'll be running in CCS Thunderbike and ASRA Thunderbike in the amatuer class. I have some questions dealing with the garage area:
1. Do you have to buy a garage or is there an area where you can run out of your trailer?
2. IS there electric availible for teams not working out of a garage?
Any advice that doesn't pertain to the above questions will taken gladly as well. I am running a Ducati 749.

Smokey, in the past it hasn't been absolutely necessary to have a garage. Yes you can work from your trailer. There are some general outlets there that you can utilize for power or piggyback from a neighbor. I don't know if I would count on it though.

Don't worry its just a standard 749. I don't even have Ohlins on her. I'm looking forward to beating the #51 around Daytona.

I believe Ervin is running a 749S. I was running up against him at VIR. And when i said beating the #51 around Daytona. I meant beating my #51 Ducati into submission around the race track. How many 749R's are there going to be in Amatuer? I'm not expecting to do well around Daytona seeing as how the only time i seen the road course is on Youtube.

Well Smokey - you'll at least have a 67hp SV in the ASRA race with you to beat around that banking.  I too am just studying Youtube...
