CCS Florida Round 5 PBIR Ultra Light Thunder Bike Ninja 250 Race Review

Interesting weekend of racing. Sunday brought completely dry conditions in the morning and soaking wet conditions in the late
afternoon. I was the only one who was to race on Monday who practiced on Sunday. I had the track to my self
in the late afternoon and pretty much ran until I ran it our out of fuel.

The weather held up for Ultra Light Thunder Bike race on Monday but the majority of the 250 riders all seemed to have some sort of last minute issues. Come race time all riders had their stuff together and had a good run. This week end we welcomed wild card rider Bill Wissinger who piloted one of Mototech racing's Ninja 250 race bikes.

I led the first few laps until caught by Walter Ferreyra. Once Passed by Walter, I picked it up to run the fastest lap of the race. Putting the pressure on and nearly pulling up besides Walter but I was not able to make the pass. Meanwhile Paul Vance ran 3rd while Bill was putting the pressure on Dom Herrera for for 4th.

Congrats to Walter Ferreyra for taking the win!

Race Results:

Walter Ferreyra 1st
Miguel Chirino 2nd
Paul Vance 3rd
Dom Herrera 4th
Bill Weissinger 5th

Next Florida round will be at Homestead Speedway 06-2
