Attendance Confirmation Required for all 2011 Region Awards Ceremonies

So is this article saying that I or anyone else will not receive their award(s) if they do not attend one of the banquets?


They way I read it is I fax, mail or call in the form to say yes or no as to whether or not I'm going to the banquet.  And if I don't fax it in before in my case 2/24 I have to arrange to have it/them shipped to my address?  What if I don't fax, mail or call in my notice because I don't have Internet access or I never go to the ccsracing.us website and I didn't read the notice posted there?  Are they going to be brought to the track to be picked up?  Or is the only option to pay to have it shipped to my house?  And who's paying the shipping if I don't go to the banquet?

For anyone who does not confirm, their trophies will be held at the offices of A & J Recognition (my business). You should call or email me to arrange shipping. Phone 828-684-0195 .. email one of my addresses (see my signature).

We are currently out of town and won't be back home until Feb. 20th. We'd need to package up your awards and get a weight for UPS or Priority Mail to figure the shipping amount to be paid.  Payment must be done through PayPal.

That's a great question.  It's 3 weeks away.

Why don't we just have it as a luncheon at HPT or Road America?  We could just combine it with the 2012 banquet?  Web video conference? 

It would be great to know.  I would hope they have it setup with the venue by now.  Please tell me there will be enough room that everyone can sit together this year.

I have run banquets and can not understand how you can pick a date without a venue!?!?!?!
It's that the cart before the horse???

Ed, Pretty simple why a date is picked before a venue, Race shcedules are done first then banquets are scheduled on the available weekends after those are complete.

On top of that we have had verbal confirmation and been waiting for the venue contract. Hopefully that is complete very soon.
