Heading to VIR in Sept. What gearing are you sv650 guys running? Also what gears do you recommend for each turn?

On a supersport SV you can use 15-45 or 15-44.I use a 15-44

15-44 is good unless you're a fast guy.  The dudes cutting 37s and faster are using 15-43.

One of my friend uses 16-47 which is the same as 15-44 and he has done 37's with that. This is a 1st gen bike,2nd gen bike may be a little different since they rev 500 rpm more.

Gearing is subjective and dependant on the individual and motorcycle.  On a second gen 15x45 would be way too short, in my opinion.  I'd be hitting the rev limiter half way down the front straight.  My second gen SV is putting out about 78hp, I can run a 1:39 and I use 15x43 as my gearing.
