What is the difference between super sport & super bike classes. Thanks

Eric Kelcher

They are both street bike based classes, SS has limited mods, while SB has virtually unlimited modifications.
That said the big issues are, SS limits: tires, wheels, forks, brakes, engine and intake/carburation.

For exact call on SS vs SB mod most riders here and engine builders can help if you post up your bike and what upgrades you are thinking of, but for official answer contact the office.

I have an 07 gsxr750 mostly stock slip on exhaust what mods are legal for SB like engine, airbox, air intake etc the bike pushes about 133 HP last dyno. Thanks for any help. T.somma

Go read Sec 6.1 and 6.2 in the rule book using the link above. It pretty much explains it.  what you are looking at doing?

Pretty much anything; limits are going to be must run on gasoline, no nitrous or super/turbo charging. Depending on displacement increase(if any) would fit into heavy or unlimited classes.
