Is an ASRA license needed for a team to run Team Challenge?

question, with this race do you get any practices b4 the race or do you have to pay for the prac. day during the morning to get alittle track time to get adjusted?

At HPT we got a couple afternoon practice sessions before the race.

so in outer words I don't need to do the pratice day to get some laps in before the race. I don't want my first lap of the season to be a race start into turn one.
