It scares me when a Spring forecast shows no rain

Hey!  Any slim chance of good weather we're going to hang onto.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

40. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, but powerful beyond measure. We were all meant to shine, as children do. When our light shines, we liberate others.

Under 60?  When does it get under 60 in race season in Florida? ;D  Actually, it was in the upper 70's and mid 80's at Homestead in the beginning of Feb, and I went to Homestead to watch last December and I'd say it was in the mid 70's.  Stranger things have happened though.  I know the turnout would be one spectator less if it was in the 50's or low 60's...my wife would stay home or in the heated car...lol. :)  We'd all enjoy the 60's for a race...do you know how frigging hot it is in leathers when it's 98 and humid?.......ouch!

Never been up here in July have ya....

Decreasing Dave - no comments about that 'dry' heat in Arizona either.

Don't forget...although it was a LONG time ago, I raced as a kid in Ohio on the dirt track scene.  The first race of the year was an indoor short track in March with outdoor pits.  I remember one year having my hands freeze to the bars.  I also remember going on a turkey run in November and being frozen to my dad's belt.  I've been there for the cold, but nothing compares to the heat down here in July.  It never cools down...just stays 90+ all night even.  I don't, however, miss living up north. ;D
