What are the rules reguarding exiting a gt race for a flat and re-entering?

3.4.4.N.6 says no restrictions for repairs on pit lane.
What about going behind the wall and going back out? No mention of it that I can find elsewere.

3.4.5.A says that if I leave the track that I may re-enter if I don't shorten the course.

Serious replies only...
Thanks.

The laps you completed prior to entering the paddock are lost.  Whe you come back on the track you start over working lap #1.   Serious answer.

Rick,

I think he is talking about a normal regional GT race,  which reentering is not allowed, if you leave pitlane race is over, laps completed are those that count. A GT race you can enter the course after the start if you were registered for race.

For the TC you can, with permission, go to the paddock but your lap count reverts to zero.

Noid was that you in the grass in turn 2?

Sorry Eric, you're right. I didn't read it close enough.
I still had TC in my brain after last weekend at Blackhawk.

I think the chances of that ACTUALLY happening are about 1 in a million.  :kicknuts:

Probably about the same likelyhood as someone overshooting their pit spot at Road America by about 200 yards and then sitting there for about 10 seconds looking around.   :kicknuts:
