True Jef4y,

Really fast on a SS 600....if the pavement is warm and dry it should be doable.  I always shoot for a high goal and get disappointed anyway...I have to piss myself off to get the mentality to go faster.  Which is why my GTU results last year were always the worst...I'd lollygag until someone passed me that ticked me off...not trying to but it just takes me awhile to get the edge each weekend.

I think there is a danger to not having goals high enough, though.  Last weekend I thought well Top 10's would be good...in places 5-15...and that's almost exactly what I got...6,7,10,13,15,DNF (running 10th at the time).

Aren't there any Germans out there (or took German in high school)? :) Siebken's (284 Lake St, Elkhart Lake, WI 53020). In German, ie is pronounced e, ei is pronounced i.

I will be  there on Thursday. We will be staying at my wife's favorite bed and breakfast. Great food, whirl pool tubs, and Guiness on tap.

Stop by the Learning Curves pit area, we will probably be near the gas pump area, we are going to try to get all of our students in one place.

I'm about as German as a person can get, but it doesn't mean I know how to spell.   ;)

No I never took German in high school, I didn't need to because by great grandparents spoke it.  Plus I figured that I am an American, I can just let that language go.

I took German in high school and played soccer for a couple German clubs. My German instructor said that Germans do not have spelling tests because their words are spelled like they sound (once you know how the sounds are spelled I guess).

LOL!!!

I think the reason why Germans don't have spelling tests are due to one of our personality traits.  We are never wrong!  Since spelling is not one of our strong suits - Well, if we don't have spelling tests, we cannot be wrong!

Ok another RA question  ???

Does anyone know if the gate will be open all night long?

If I get to Seibkeggers or whatever and register on Thursday, decide to partake in some spirits and maybe wander to the track at say ......4am, will I be able to get in if I have my gate passes?

Time to start the weather forecasting for our R.A. event next weekend. Right now Weather.com is saying middle 50's and partly cloudy for Friday thru Sunday, I can live with that!
