1st quick question is someone can answer... I thought the Pirelli cup was for white plates only but I recently saw something that lead me to think it was open to novices to?

Ok so when I was racing 2-strokes in california few years back (local clubs) they pretty much copy pasted CCS rulebooks and people on the 600's would say if the manufactures offer something for a bike similar to (EX. like puting the Honda ABS system on a originally non-ABS equipt Honda (I don't know if thats possible but as an example)) or as an upgrade for that bike it was legal for supersport... Like the Kit parts... I have a 848 track bike that I want to run in Supersport but I have M4 calipers on the bike and I'm wondering if i need to put the stocks back on (the rules state stock calipers) the calipers are offered through Ducati as upgrades to the stock 2-piece ones. Also I have the RCS brake master cylinder and clutch master cylinder on it (also a Ducati performance upgrade)... I know most people add the brake master (in CRA that isn't a SS legal thing but nevermind that) but is the clutch master cylinder an issue at all? I bought it so the levers matched and getting parts for brembo is a lot easier than Ducati where I'm at. Its not a huge deal as I still have the stocks but those M4's sure are pretty.

Now that you brought it to our attention we will be watching you(I have nothing to do with CCS rules). What I have seen on many bikes are not stock from the showroom floor but have been allowed to run and win races and ultimately gain a Regional Championship. My  guess is noone will know the difference anyway except you. If it doesn't say you can't do it then it is ok.

i would put the stock calipers back on for SS. they were looking my 848 over pretty good at CMP specially post race inspection. not that its a problem its very stock including mufflers. dont think the master is a problem but havent looked in the rule book either. as for the pirelli cup, i thought it was expert only too. but open to amateur, could have got second at CMP had i known before.

The rulebook is straight forward listing what items are restricted, brake calipers are listed as stock requirement, master cylinders are not thus free to use what you wish.

You are not allowed to mix and match parts from different makes, models.  SS is stock parts for that VIN, not dealer addons or other aftermarket parts used for restricted parts. Hope this helps.

I just wanted to get cleared up the Originally Equipt from Manufacture vs. Availible to equip from manufacture

Pirelli cup is amateurs and experts.  They should allow other people to run with different tires, but the ones that run with Pirelli get extra $$$
