A GSXR Sunrise...Happy Easter.

I know, it's no longer cool to mention Easter, it's a "spring celebration".  Funny though, I aint never seen a seasonal weather change bring hope to any of our boyz when they are broken up, or warm weather comfort a buddy who's wife just left him with the kids.  And rolling the clock forward has never inspired anyone who lays in a hospital bed thinking about the surgery tomorrow, that there might be hope even if everything goes wrong.  So for those of you who are satisfied with absolutely no thoughts about God in your life, then a happy spring day to you.  But for any of you who have faced the edge, been forced to take a life to defend family or country, spent last week at the hospital holding the hand of a loved one, braced for financial collapse, reached your emotional limit, or just looked into your childs eyes and want to leave them more than a shriveled 401k as your legacy...Then a blessed reminder to you that there is hope with this sunrise that honor and courage still live, our Savior is not held by the grave, and neither shall we be.   See you at CMP next week.

It is a shame that our society is so bent on removing the one who created them from their lives. It seems like the ultimate teenager rebellion against parents.

thanks Art.   here's to the one who scheduled the jennings race on (spring day) i stayed home and celabrated easter instead. good thing i'm not in the points i'd been pissed.  then henry complains that he has too low a turn out at jennings and wants to cut it out completely.  the last thing want on my tombstone is a christmas or easter date on it. it almost had april fools on it in 07

Happy Easter, Art.  Awesome pic!  I spent Easter with the family at Church.  And FWIW, I have three little girls.  We do the whole Easter basket thing, and color eggs and all, but we spend more time telling them the REAL story of Easter than the secular one.
