is there a trick to taking the fuel tank cover off a 07 honda 600rr ?

Stock or  glass?  But not really, just undo all the fasteners pull up on the back side and flex the sides out a little and it should come right off.

anthony my truck mechanic's honda he let it sit and now the pump won't run he's got it at his house so i'm doing it by proxiy

twilkinson3

fuel pump isn't priming? check the safety interlocks before the pump unless it went arse over teakettle at some point - kill switch disables the pump, think the BAS does too but don't remeber 100% - sidestand doesn't if I'm remembering correctly

racenrub

Yup the BAS will most certainly disable the pump.
There's always worse things then dying
