Just read on the NJMP Website that Team ProMotion will be managing the race school and practice for the NJMP CCS races this year. Anyone know if they're be running a different format than usual? Costs?

No information was posted on their Website. NJMP only had the following:

Team Pro-Motion to conduct motorcycle race practice and licensing schools at New Jersey Motorsports Park

Millville, N.J. (March 1, 2010) - New Jersey Motorsports Park announces Team Pro-Motion Sportbike Club to organize and conduct race practice and the CCS race licensing school for the NJMP SportBike Championship Cup Series. Practice days and the licensing school will be conducted on the Friday prior to each race weekend, allowing seasoned racers to practice on the course they will be racing on during the weekend. In addition, riders who are new to racing will be able to attend the licensing school on Friday and begin their racing career the same weekend!

"Team Pro-Motion has been conducting successful track day events at NJMP since we opened our facility in 2008," said Joe Volpe, NJMP Director of Motorsports Activities. "Their commitment to the motorcycle community, our facility, and being an approved CCS licensing school, makes them a perfect fit with our program."

The NJMP sponsored test days are open to licensed CCS racers, AND, those participating in the CCS Race License school. Team Pro-Motion instructors will be conducting the race school (the school will have its own run group), and staff will be conducting the practice day.

Those participating in the race school will also participate in a "rookie" race during the day

What a test day is not, it's not a "track day," amateur or expert license or taking the school is required to run on track

Practice day cost is 175.00 (online - pre registration)
you can create a guest account (free) at www.teampromotion.com to complete your registration or call 215-675-6677 10-4 eastern and the office will get you set up!

Will CCS officials be setting up the practice groups according to class? Am/Ex?

Or will it be more of an open practice day with all classes on the track at once?

I believe we had around 5 or 6 groups for morning practices last time. Don't remember what last year's practice day was like, got there too late on Friday :-(

We're working with both NJMP and CCS to run the day in accordance to SOP's. Yes, groups will be assigned by class. Number of run groups will be determined by attendance
