Super Dave

And looting TV's during a natural disaster doesn't make sense either.

Everyone would kill given the right circumstances?  Seems pretty open ended doesn't it?  I'll let you decide how to rephrase your part for some idea that resembles something worth discussing.

I want to thank you, for "letting" me re-phrase my OPINION (if that makes any sense).  My original post was based on that considering the financial status the whole country is in, that naturally there will be more thefts.  In general, and at places like the race-track.  So your point is that anyone who has ever stolen anything, didn't have a first time?  Furthermore, if they just so happened to have a first time, that this person was just lazy as they didn't get to it sooner.  What I valued when I was young, is different from what I believe now.  I stole all kinds of shit, cigarettes, porno mags, lawn furniture.  I haven't stolen a damn thing since I was 15.  I am now 27, and I have no desire to teach that kind of mentality to my kids.

I can't buy the 'economic stress' thing either, I read somewhere they estimated this guy was responsible for a MILLION DOLLARS worth of stolen property!

no, obviously having a million dollars of stolen goods has nothing to do with economic stress.  Especially considering this guy owns lots of real estate and a restaurant.

Yeah Dave, they only ever stole T.V.'s.  That seems pretty open ended.

Lost my original reply...

But, your point is taken: it's crappy individual valuation.  Twelve years ago, there wasn't any crappy economy to blame anything on.  If it's not yours, you don't take it without permission or an arrangement.

theiving at the race track is common at the so. fla tracks homestead and palm beach but i think it's mostly spectators not the racers themselves. my friend told me that years ago there was a string of bike thefts at moroso i think they even pinched henrys street bike... didn't steve wenner get his wallet stolen at daytona last year?  a rent a pit bull business would do good here in fla

Hope not.  You said you have a different valuation now.  Unless you've decided that the work of others is yours, I see no reason for you to claim being in hibernation.

Who else comes to our races besides our "personal support" though? It seems like they are all racers or family/friends of the racers.

Man that would piss me off even more is somebody swiped some of my stuff at the track.

Oh, yeah, does a wonder when it happens.

In hindsight, it's a "great opportunity" for someone with crappy values, right, as most of us suspect everyone to be friends and family...

at homestead my poor wife dosen't hardly see any racing she's too busy playing security guard.

Marc, Will you and Mark be pitted in the same garage? If so what number. I can try to get the garage next to you. That way we can all watch some racing and race with someone else always watching our stuff!!!

Ducmarc
