Pit Bull is going to pay $500 to whichever Novice/Amateur racer finishes with the most Pit Bull dollars awarded to them at the end of the 2010 season. If you race WERA and CCS events, those amounts will be added together. We keep a file of all contingency awards throughout the year. You do NOT have to save your Pit Bull dollars till the end of the year...we will go off the amount awarded, not the amount remaining. This will be administered by Pit Bull directly and paid out at the end of the season.  If there's a tie in amounts, the rider with the most 1st place finishes wins. If there is a tie in 1st place finishes, you can split it.  Happy Hunting

I think we have enough results in hand to say Chris Birdsong is the winner of our "Top Novice" award. Chris accumulated more than $1800 in Pit Bull contingency this season and will be getting a $500 check on top of that.

There may be a slight shake-up in the runner-ups but not enough to change the winner. As it looks right now, the runner-ups were:

2. David Pullen
3. Sean Cassell
4. Jonathan Elias

Congratulations to all on a great season!

It sucks that they weren't counting all middleweight and heavyweight classes. I had 50 wins this year. Pretty sure that tops the little Birdsong.

Thanks Tim. Hope to see you next year on the twins classes and maybe a little vintage. Do have to thank PitBull for all the contingency money this year. They were the only ones paying other than Dunlop. And man do I love their products.

Sorry Sean...we didn't track classes that we did not have contingency payouts in.  Every season it's a delicate balance to spread the money around as best as we can and try not to leave too many racers out.  Congratz on the strong finishes this season and best of luck next year!

Not a big deal. I did get $500 in contingency and bought as much of your awesome products as possible. Even before I started racing I had a couple sets of PitBull stands. The quality is unmatched. Thank you.
