see what your missin  there's quite a few eatery's around daytona we go there a few times a year and stay at a little hotel on the beach and go and sample the food aunt catfishes has a nice sunday brunch and cow licks on A1A is our favorite ice cream store plus it's right accross the street from the hotel so if you have the road side room you get to see their sign talking to you all night. greg lives on the west coast so he knows about treasure island and indian rocks beach that's another place we like real reasonable good seafood and can stay on a nice wide beach. always wonderd why it can be seclueded and still be right next to tampa   food for thought for you all in the great white north.

Always hit Park, the Chart House, and this place all the way at the end of the road down the beach.  Kind of off an inlet.  Can't remember what it was called.  Also went up to a steak place north of Daytona right off the beach...but the beach wasn't pretty there.  Lots of food options.

One year, we did a bike show up in Jacksonville before our AHRMA race, and Gary Fisher and I found some Columbian joint.  OMG!  That place rocked.  Lots of options.  Maybe someone will offer me a ride at the AHRMA Daytona races this spring.

As for us...

I have to admit, I was caught off guard.

Just had some grouper at "Frenchies" on clearwater beach today with my uncle who was in town for a couple days.
