Practice Friday at VIR?

Can anybody confirm that there IS open practice this Friday at VIR and how much it will cost?

(I don't wanna take Thursday off from work and drive all the way up there just to twiddle my thumbs all day Friday)

yes. Cornerspeed is hosting the practice day on April 11.

.. rumor has it that we have camping and all night gate access but I am not entirely sure about the gate part. I just sent VIR an email about the gate times.

Kevin, when you get confirmation from VIR about the open gate, could you post in this thread please. I plan on showing up Thursday evening, but don't want to find myself sleeping on the entry road. If I have to leave earlier to get in I will. It has never been a problem in the past, but things change. So any confirmation you can provide would be appreciated.

So that answers that question.

I do not know about the tires question though.
