I would be all over that class. Especially if they have a vintage formula 50.

Isn't 50 considered vintage?

Devin- I think the frame is made of lead whereas the FZR400 frame is aluminium. Bolting the 600 motor into the 400 frame would be considered illegal although it still wouldn't have the advantage in the 400 frame. My FZR400 produces 60rwhp amd the FZR600 produces 100rwhp per the Prieto dyno. The weight is the big part especially within the frame. Cutting the subframe off and building an aluminium piece could save weight but the FZR600 has to run against the likes of Ducati 748, 749, Bimotas and Ducati air-cooled 1000.

I have Don Dechant's old 1988 FZR400 with a 600 motor, flatslides, an R6 front end and a Honda F2 rear wheel.  It's my streetbike, believe it or not!  The spectators at MotoGP in Indy were doing major doubletakes as they walked past it.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I bet they were. They wondered about the "Frankenbike". LOL. I have also done the R1 front fork swap onto the FZR600, it's made a world of difference. Never did the rear wheel though due to the fact that the rear never spun up even with the 155 Bridgestone slick. My competitiors always made fun of the small bicycle rear tire.

Love those CB 750's.
I have a 1962 Honda CA-95 Baby Dream, corners well for a pogo front end, surely there's a class for the thing?
