it does suck not to have a friday practice especially for a big event like this. big advantage for the southeast guys. Ive never raced there and have 2 practice sessions to try to get up to speed

You said the same thing at road atlanta a few years ago! Didnt take you long to run with all of the fast boys on your SV, and you beat Stokes (an ailing stokes, but still) on your 999. NOw if you would just learn not to jump the start.  Sorry Arnie, I had too.

I figure a friday practice wouldnt make a difference in my times by Sunday maybe .5 a second, but it will for saturday trying to get the bikes dialed

. Its a win win for us racers. We get the chance to win bunches of money on our overall performance,

I think they are paying for individual races aswell.

Thats what I thought too, but I believe Arnie and the Michelin flyer proved me wrong. The original plan was per race plus overall. Now I think its just a lareger overall. Again, im not positive, but thats the picture they paint on the site.

hey Arnie at barber on my ducati i used the same gearing as vir or summit,at barber there is not much of a straight away at all,my bike only got to 5th gear for a few seconds, maybe i could have used a 1 tooth bigger in the back. Most turns are 3rd and 4th gear.On your 750 you only need  up to 4th gear.
