I have no problem letting anyone who wants to know who I am just hit me with an IM and I will give you my name, number and home address, without a problem. The only thing that concerns me now is my son and the thought of this guy even bringing this into the mix to me shows his true colors...

I don't know how most of you are thinking, that I just made this up, and now this guy is claiming the last dealing I have with him was on 4/07 come on. This guy is a straight up liar, period...  I think most of you would be thinking a bit different if this guy would have taken $1000.00 from you...   Being unreasonable, why has this guy taken until now to say stick it if he has had them in his words since June.   3 months for him to figure out that my warmers are 2 years old and you are now going to get screwed..  Remember he has said many many times not to worry he would take care of it, who is really being unreasonable? He makes it sound as if I was asking for 3 new sets of tire warmers.... Even though this is what I paid for I said I would be happy with one set if he could get me a straight year out of them. Is that being unreasonable???

So because I do not post on this board this gives me no credit. I have been around the racing scene a very very long time and I have to date can remember having only one other big problem with anyone and in the end we came to work things out... 

I will take my humble public opinion @$$ whipping and keep bumping this post to the top just for all to see what I have to say. If you are a reader of these types of boards and not a poster I am quite sure you will think twice before buying from this guy... If you look at the numbers it is quite easy to see over 240 views and only 4 different posters so I think my point is getting out there and this was my intent..

I said, I will look at them and get you taken care of. In a case of a year passed the warranty period, getting a discount is taking care of you. You just don't understand how they work.

Racers race to settle things. So I'll give you a list of tracks I'll be at and you can show if you want and we will race to settle it. You lost your chance of a reasonable conclusion already because you didn't want to be reasonable yourself. You get one more chance to own up to your post, and then I'll let everyone know who you are. Christ almighty. Throw the frickin' warmers away, never deal with stickboy again, get some new warmers and be done with it. Some times it's just better to cut your losses and move on. I don't blame you for being disgruntled if your warmers where shit from the get go, but I also don't blame stickboy for not covering an item 1 year out of warranty. Live, learn and move on.

You are a racer with a big mouth and that should be held accountable for his actions and or his big mouth. You are the typical person in todays society who doesn't want to be held accountable for he less the honorable actions and this is why I called you out. The only reason I didn't want my name posted in the first place is to not hurt my son as a person and or a racer. Like this one I don't often post but like I said I have been around the seen I am quite sure longer then you have been and have brought my son up through the mini scene so we are on a few boards and do know a few people. I guess in my experience with life and racing, I've found that there comes a point when you simply need to LET THINGS GO...

You simply have to ask yourself what you expect to gain out of the fight and if it's truly worth that at the end of the day.  Trust me, I know...  Most recently, I was trapped in an elevator at Mandalay bay with 18 other people for 45 minutes while they did absolutely nothing to resolve the situtation (we eventually called 911 to get the LVFD to open the doors).  I didn't get anything in compensation from that deal, but had to simply let it go because it made no logical sense to keep fighting it.

So now, you've had your moment to say what you needed to say, now LET IT GO...  Continuing further only makes you look like, well, a Raging Bull...

Let me get this straight - you don't want to post your name because you are scared that it will reflect badly on your son...

In the interest of everyone involved, I am going to try and give you some potentially valuable advice that I think should help you in your dillema.

If there are actions that you think are potentially wrong (such as trashing trusted suppliers accross multiple websites where you have no standings) or you think about doing things that could reflect negetively on yourself - just don't do them.  If YOU don't do things that woudl result in YOU having a bad reputation in the industry then you don't have to worry about the impact of such negative actions or how your reputation could impact the reputation of your son.

For what it is worth - just because you have behaved like an @$$hat here the rest of the racing comumity probably won't hold it against your son ( unless he begins to consistently displays simmilar behavior).

This is a fairly closely knit community - the ananymous posting doesn't go over well.  I have been involved in this sport for 8 years and generally have seen pretty high standars of service set by the longstanding and well known vendors.  If you don't like the service from one vendor - just find another.  If his service is that bad then the vendor will have a very short life in the sport.

Internet tuff guy???? Has anyone here seen you Derek?? There is a reason they call him "Stick" LOL. Seriously though, I have known Stick for several years and have absolutely nothing negative to say about him. He will go out of his way to help anyone out. I have NEVER heard a negative remark about Stick's business dealings. I consider Derek a good friend and take personal cause to anyone who wrongly gadmouths him....just wish he sold Dunlops instead of the crappy "Stones LOL Tdub
