I was just talking to my girlfriend about this, there's so much talent in the American roadracing community without the opportunity for factory support.  Jeff Wood is a perfect example.  Solid rider, solid character, mixing it up with the factory riders with a tiny fraction of the resources.

Sucks for the riders looking to make a living in the US road racing, but sure shows how good the riding is at the front of the Expert inline 4 cylinder classes, especially on ASRA and WERA National weekends.

Honestly, it's the rules structure that is finally allowing rider talent and some set up to trump the major teams that used to have $250k to $750k machines.  Things are more as they should be.  Go get 'em tomorrow, Jeff!

True but the old class structure split the talent in half.
