Obviously i would paint it yellow but is the placement and spacing of the numbers ok?

Burt Munro

With a yellow background behind all the numbers (and some blank yellow spacing around the outside edge) it should work.

thats the little things i was wondering about...
anybody know about the fla region if the techs would be so harsh???

roadracer162

Florida region tech is not extremely harsh but it depends on the individual. If you can read it easily they will let you go even if it isn't to the letter of the law. Same size, same direction is what they typically ask for. Doing it in a chevron such as you do makes it a little more difficult to read at speed. The front is usually used at start/finish and the sides and rear by the corner workers, or so is my impression.

i see... makes sense might have to go with smaller numbers cramped up more.

roadracer162

That's what I did and I have a two digit that helps. I also have numbers on the sides going ole'skool.

their not    henry needs your money as long as there is a boarder around the numbers your plugs and filter are safety wired and your helmet is legal you will be allright. their good people. they have fussed at me before and it's nothing personal we all had fun at the game you will have plenty of time to fix any problems daytona seems to be a mix of fla and southeast. somewhat impersonable.

My tail #plate isn't the size they specify, but it fits all the other parameters, think they'll let it slide?

roadracer162

can you read it from about 40 feet away? If you can you have a legitimate argument.
