Doe's anyone know how this effects race practice on Friday?? I see it's 225 bucks.Is that just for the street groups and as racers is the price still the same and can we still do half the day like usuall????????  thanks in advance.

Looks like the $225 is for racer practice + visionsports school. It's $95 for just test & tune.

Yeah,I just talked to kathleen,she may post something up,but it sounds like it will be buisiness as usual.

Doctor

Per Kathleen, the Racer Practice will go on as normal. The Blackhawk Farms Rider Clinic is independent of the Racer Practice and will have it's own independent structure. Racer Practice is definitely business as usual.

So, the clinic won't have track time?

The Clinic will have track time. The Racer Practice will still go on as always.

But the on track time is now reduced for the racer practice fee.  That's what the answer I was wondering about.

No, Kathleen said this will not affect the Racer Practice at all.

Are they putting the clinic in with the racers then?

Just received this-

QuoteBtw, to clarify for all;

The NEW BFR Riders Clinics are designed to bring more riders to the race community, and possibly introduce new racers to CCS. Hence involvement on the race practice event. Of course, this is not designed to adversely affect the racers practice, which have traditionally maintained 2-3 groups of practice based on entries, AM, EX and sometimes a Lightweight class (combined).  The Riders Clinic session will be completely separate from the racers as the last run group.

With this in mind, BFR will start with 2 race practice groups (yellow plates, white plates). IF the race groups hit a certain threshold, another race group will be defined, 3 total with Lightweight (am/ex combined).  Very similar to how we handled the track day with 50 Intermediate entries.

So at the end of the day, Racers should still enjoy 6-7 sessions, 15-20 min. each based on grids for the low, low price of 95.00.....considering grids across the board are down, it is highly likely Race Practice will be down relatively. The Riders Clinics are designed to mitigate the loss by bolstering participation from a completely different market. The racer market, largely funded by credit cards is down tremendously.

That there is my biggest fear.
Street riders in with AM racers.
Or worst, Street riders in with Experts.
