I heard from someone that the MW Novice classes are likely filled up already.. i didnt get a chance to prereg.. do I have a shot at even entering this weekend?? I see Femmoto on the schedule.. is that CCS or ASRA? If thats the only class stil open, do I need to buy an Asra/CCS ($170) license to race it?

CCS.

MW full?  Can't say for sure.  But MW GP is usually less full than MW SS.

You don't need the ASRA part of the license at all if you aren't planning on running the ASRA races. Like Super Dave said, the FMMW class is CCS, so if that's the only class that's open (I'm guessing you'll be the only entry based on looking at that region's points like I mentioned in the other thread) you just need the $120 CCS license. You can get the schedule here: http://www.ccsracing.us/venues/summit.html

You can tell the ASRA classes apart because they're the ones with qualifying on Sunday.

If the middleweight classes are full, you can always enter Heavyweight or Unlimited classes. Lots of people on 600s race up a few classes. I've never been to Summit so I don't know if HP is a benefit there or not like it is at a track like Road America though. I think GTU is typically packed. GTO might have a little more space.

My husband is trying to last-minute figure out how to get out there for the ASRA stuff. Unfortunately since I'm already committed to riding at Autobahn this weekend I wont be coming along otherwise you would have someone to ride with in FMMW. Some of the old guys are usually pretty quick though, so you should still have some fun winning your "participant" wood.

thank you for the info! I really appreciate it. I was having trouble figuring out which races were ASRA and which were CCS. I'm getting out of work early to get down there when reg opens Fri night and hopefully there will be some MW spots left. If not, I'll do the HW classes. I did them last year and I have a good Weight to HP ratio lol so it doesnt make too much of a difference. Road Atlanta is the only place I can think of that it would be reallly tough to be competitive. I have raced the WSS with wera, which sounds like the same as FMMW, so I would prob be bored and out there by myself lol. If i wanted to go out and ride around with other people with no battles, I would just do more track days haha. BUT either way, too bad you're racing at autobaun.. good have had more than just me in FMMW :)

the fem moto is mixed with other classes too so there will be some other people on the track for you to chase around.
the heavy weights usally dont sell out but could also less peoplein mwsb then mw ss
or if you really wanted to you can go in the unlimited races 600

You wouldn't of be the only girl in Fem moto at Summit. Rachel is going to be doing all the Fem Moto races in the Mid-Atlantic region and will probably do them at the TC race weekends too.

Stop by the RnR Cycles pit and say Hi.. Rachel isn't as mean as she looks....

Just saw this.. MW wasnt full so I did those. I would need to win the lottery or something to be able to enter more races. Didn't get to meet Rachel, but saw her out there. I may come back in July, depending on finances... I'll say hi then for sure!
