Just so I have this right, 15/45? If I was redlined at HPT with 16/45 I can't imagine dropping one in the front, aren't the top speeds pretty close between the two tracks? I have a little more than stock motor but nothing crazy.

R1, Are you sure you were running 16/45 at HPT?  I ran 15/46 at HPT and just barely hit the rev limitter at ALPHA  16 front is what comes stock.  I ran 16/45 at Road America.  If you have a built motor, I'd start with 15/45 at BHF.  I pland on running 15/46 on my 08 R6 at BHF.

Weird. I ran 16/45 and redlined at HPT, then 17/45 and redlined at BIR with a tail wind. It has more power than stock but I'm using pump gas so it's well under 120 hp I'm sure. I'm going to try the 16/45 again since I don't have anything shorter, maybe I'll just use 5th on the straight.

It turns out that you were right and I had 15/45 at HPT. According to the dyno, this combo tops out at 140 mph. Does anyone know what top speed at BHF is on a 600? It seems like it would be about 140 but maybe it would be better to use 16/45 and just use 5th gear on the front straight.
