I have always pre-registered but had a senior moment and forgot to do so for RA. Stupid question #1- Is the entry form different for gate sign up or do I use the "pre-entry" form and give that at the gate?

No, at the track the entry form is 3 part paper so you get a copy and the track and all that jazz. Your better off just waiting and filling out the one at the track for post reg.
