For me, it's four wheels.  It's entertaining, but not as exciting.

I prefer two wheels too, but F1 is the pinnacle of any racing machines IMO, and the new rules this year have made for some interesting racing.

So, how much do you think Mat makes?

Sorry, just re-reading your opening...

Mat makes more than probably 75% of the MotoGP field, would be my educated guess.  Might be more.  Certainly less travel.

Winning by 15 seconds is still applying oneself too.

I had heard that he was only making like 200 grand a year from Suzuki, and its not like you've ever seen him on a wheaties box or a nike ad.   I don't know,   I would say for AMA racing 200 grand is pretty good, hell 200 grand to race motorcycles lol.   But I know Rossi earned like 23 or 28 million last year, something in that range.

I think Roger Lee was getting $250k from American Honda back when he was riding the Bruce Transportation Honda's.

Mladin's helmet contract is well over $100k a year.  He's making millions.  Then he has his business too.

Yeah, Rossi makes good money.  He's very unique, and head and shoulders above everyone else, even when he doesn't win a championship.
