It's a lot of work getting a post move to the second page.   ::)

But you say, "It's not worth reading?"

What's not?

The "Why" post on the second page.  It's just someone's lame attempt to get a rise out of the people on this board.

Dawn   :)

P.S.  Dare I ask...  How's the bike coming?
Paul and Dawn Buxton

Super Dave

I have tires?  Rest of the bike is in Chicago.  Waiting for fork springs so the forks can be completed, shock, etc.  I'll probably go pick it up on Tuesday.  Stay up 24 hours completing it so I can leave Wednesday to be ready for Thursday.

Yours ready?
Super Dave

QuoteYours ready?

Uhh.....  No.   :-/

We'll see how much progress he makes this weekend.  We just got the parts this past week.  But - at least the bike now has two tires mounted instead of just one.   ;D

Good luck in getting your bike pulled together.  We have pulled a few all nighters - it's no fun.

Just remember...

Racing is the reference to all the things one does prior to the event.

LOL!!!

No wonder why racing, at times, feels like a year round event.   ;D

Oh, it is.

I remember when, back in...

It has been a long time...  I think that's why I have gray hair!  Maybe I should go with the goofy platinum blond thing like everyone else?  LOL!

Dave:

Isn't your bike blue?  You could dye your hair blue to match the bike.   ;D

Oh wait....  I remember - 'blue haired' drivers seem to be always in the way.

You do sound like you're ready stevie!  One word of advice...make sure you make a checklist of everything you'll be needing and be sure to use it the night you pack and again in the morning when you leave.  Good luck!

Steve, if you get ahold of a crimp style masterlink before BHF or RA, let me know and I will bring up my chain tool to crimp the masterlink.

Maxim makes good dye, and it's available at Walgreens... Not that I'd know or anything.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

My all-time favorite "Married-With Children" quote.  Al cuts off Kelly's allowence, so she's complaining to her mom.  "What? does he think blonde hair just grows out of your head?"
