I'm sorry i could not resist. now that everybodys got a ducati in fl i thought about a buell the problem is after you build a bike ground up with about all the good parts you can find it's hard to dump it all and start over on a completely differand brand i mean short of the master cylinder nothing would fit .since I'm paranoid about spares I'd go broke filling the parts bin  I'm four and five deep on spares I've got an A bike  a B bike and enough to build a C and a D bike with pretty good stuff. it's stupid

Oh, yeah, tell me about it.

I had Kawasaki's in '99/'00, Suzuki in '01/'02.  Yamaha's from 2003 to 2007.  That was nice keeping one for that whole time with the down side of the 2006 model for just the one year.  SV1000 in 2007, GSXR750 in 2008.  Now the Buell.  I've been bounced all over.  I think there are a few pieces that would transfer from my XB to an 1125 if I went that route at least.

If it's not fun for the cost, then I don't recommend doing it.  Gotta determine what's good for yourself.
