Ray, dude I just had to go there..  I had to watch it over and over, it was incredible.   Not sure exactly why Pietri ended up where he did, but your control keeping that bike up even had Freddie Spencer commenting about your control..   I am sorry you had the bad luck, but I think you got more TV time than 90% of the other racers.

I do think Alexa needs to put "Towtruck" on the back of your leathers...

All in fun..

Awesome job! I bet it wasn't easy to come to a complete stop with the other bike in tow.
Excellent maneuver!

Tino totally screwed up judging how to pass him.  Damn lucky it didn't hurt them both and a damn good job keeping the bike up on Towtrucks (sorry, I had to!) part.

Why was Robertino yelling at him, he caused the crash.  Ray should have kept going to the pits with his brand new GSXR in tow. "I didn't finish the race, but look at what I caught"  Did either one finish the race?

kawtipping

Yep, Ray finished.  Could have been higher up if not for the tow...but then again, a little TV time never hurt anyone.

There's a short recap on the Speed TV site that shows a bit of the tow, but not the yelling.

Thanks for the posts people. It was an interesting ride. I was able to finish the race. Had to replace the rear tire due to a nice flat spot from locking up. Pietri was yelling something but I don't think it was in english. And wouldn't ya know it but Butch Frye was one of the corner workers helping pull the bikes apart. I did notice at the end of the race they had me listed as riding Yamaha. Maybe something to do with the two bikes mating
