As far as lap times,I guess I should put a goal out there....at BHF,average 12-13's....1:08-10's not even on the radar for me....yet anyway.RA,I would love to be around 2:27's,Daytona...mid 1:50's....can't make HPT.Barber mid 1:30's on the average would be nice.

#1 have fun & improve!!
#2 be safe...I'm pretty much done with all the falling down stuff!
#3 do a 1:08 at BHF on a 600.  It can be done!  During several races there this year my ideal laps have been in the 1:08s so yes it can be done!

+1

Oh wait, he's serious about the 1:08's.... In that case, my new goal is to only be passed by Dan once per race.   :wtf:

Perfect time to start setting some goals for the year...

-Have as much fun on two wheels as possible
-Keep two wheels on the ground at all times
-Get to know my bike back and forth - i.e. begin to understand what it is telling me and make appropriate changes if needed
-Hit as many Great Plains race weekends as I can...and get to Blackhawk at least once for giggles
-Help new riders be safe on the track while at the same time putting BIG smiles on their faces!

See ya out there in '09 - JoeK

At the risk of sounding corny, in 09 I want to help strengthen the bond of our racing family, and keep using the track as a place where I can share examples of teamwork, respect and brotherhood, to a bunch of guys from tough backgrounds that will be joining us as pit crew.  I'd like our team to pull off at least one championship in each region, and bring in some fresh blood to mentor into future racing chaplains.  On the personal racing side, I'd like to get my act back together setting up the turns and trailbraking.  More consistent, less mistakes, and break a 1:25 at Summit, that would be very cool, and keep Endzel and Mr Bob off my back.

I've got goals - But I'm not showing my cards.....

Only one goal...
Do a 4:00 lap at Blackhawk.
And pass Scotty in the process.

BTW, I mean on a bicycle...
Are you in Scotty?

I want to - Gotta see how the next few days go... I haven't signed up yet.... I haven't really been riding the trainer this winter and my muscle tone shows it :( But I just loaded all the bicycles into the trailer tonight - Gonna do some riding while we're down in Daytona....
