I ended up getting a Penske tripple adj. from Baker, and had him do my forks as well.  The shock is a piggyback so it fits very well, but it took a little time to get it.  I used an Akrapovic race pipe, and the new PCIIIusb.  I also just put on new clip-on's and rearsets hoping to add adjustabilty, so I can adapt better.  I am triing to get to Beaverrun this weekend to get time on the bike, Hopfully I will get up to speed.

Hey...a bike that doesn't run can't burn a hole in your lowers, right?   ;D

All the more reason NOT to race one. ;D

I,m using a Hindle pipe with Sharkskinz and haven't had any problem with it hitting the bodywork. Anybody else using this setup?

Super Dave

Yours is an '03 R6?

I am using Armor Bodies bodywork.  The pipe was a full Micron system from an '02.  Fits the head pipes and all, but at a point, it just sits about 1.5 inches lower and hits the bodywork.  So, stock head pipe and a slip on.

What fun would it be to watch 25 SV 650's in a lightweight race?  Gotta have a little variety out there, right?  I could watch NASCRAP if I wanted to see 40 of the same thing running in circles (same things with different bodies, anyways).  Just trying to keep the people happy. ;D

I'm working on a 500cc Kawasaki Triple.  Now THAT would be different than an SV...  Water cooling...you know it's just a passing fad... ;D
