QuoteWe camp at the track. I also live in Nortern Va. and we should have room for one more bike if you need a lift! Let me know.

That's a great offer.  I have an F150 but sharing costs works for me especially when my pit crew (lovely wife) can't make it.
I'll shoot you a pm if you're serious.

QuoteSolo, camping at the track is cool, I personally have only stolen two bikes, (neither made me faster), and there is a great mom and pop restaurant in town with an affordable buffet.  Tips for the track, dont risk ramming the chaplain to keep from being forced into eternal damnation, oh yeah, score points with the Big Guy, and let me win.  See ya there bro.

Funny man, I'll keep that in mind!

QuoteThe track surface is rough in general but they have repaved most of the corners so they are a good bit smoother.I'd say grip is good and consistant even going from the old to new stuff and new to old.Kinda messed with my head alittle at first but it's old good.+1 for camping. There is power and hot showers. They also have open garages for rent.Might want to bring a piece of outdoor carpet,a big tarp,or some plywood to park your bike on cause it's kinda sandy in the pits.Roads are paved but they won't let you park your bike on them. It's so the ambulances can get by easy.Hope this helps some.

Thanks, that does help!

Ok, so now I just have to wait for race day........ are we there yet?

Another question-

Twin sprints doesn't mean 2 cylinder machines, correct?

Reading the book and lookiing at the schedule am I to surmise twin sprints mean I do one, 7 lap HW Supersport race on Saturday and another on Sunday?

Twin sprints means the same races both days.Leave your bike at the track, everything is safe there. if you r worried, you can leave them by us, we will camp there.

Whats up bro Endzel!  Yeah man, I'll be racin and helpin as pit crew for the TC.  You, Bill and Mr Bob are comin right?

Artis Chaplainus - I am trying to figure out how to do it right now.  I had totally planned on not coming (finances!!!) but I really want to qualify for the Michelin Invitational, and I think I'll need to score points in ALL rounds in order to even have a shot.  Not that I'll score any points at CMP; based on last year's performance it's a LOOONG SHOT!!!

I don't know man, I may come down just for the MWSS races.

I need a sponsor....... or to sell my blood.  :banghead:

When are you coming up here???  I thought it was this week.

I'll have one! I'll be running the Team Challenge with Greg so we will have to have them handy. Don't worry, we'll just follow the smoke signals...
