Couple of links to a new track opening in 2009.  Bluegrass Motorsports Club.                   It's about 50 miles SW of Cincinatti.

3200' front straight.

The track looks like a really cool layout - Wonder how long before bikes will be racing there. I also wonder if it iwll end up being like and Autobahn - Non Bike racing friendly.

I think I remember seeing a track map early in its development a couple of years ago and it looked like it had a LOT of elevation changes. I bet this track will be badass! Hopefully it is not lined with any barriers to ruin our day...

Isn't it a country club?

If it is, they seldom want or need rentals.  Nor do they have to follow any reasonable racing safety standards as you're not "racing" at a country club.  Hard enough to have safe race tracks.

I don't think this is going from the same model as Autobahn.  From the information at the link they talk about track rentals and mention that they will be hosting Club racing events.  Cost may be another story.

I am going to check the place out Saturday, to see about getting a corporate membership. The membership is customized to the needs of your team. Meaning if I only need 5 or 6 track times a year I pay a one time membership fee for a lifetime then just pay for the track time I need for test & tune. Thats what it sounded like when I talked to Kurt Niemeyer. It would be good for me cause I live 20min's up the road. I'll let you know what I find out.

it is a country club type, but they limit the club days.

I will be running 5 2-day events there in 2009
