Yeah JJ Twiggs is pretty good too.

Dewey's has two locations (that I know of).  Kirkwood right downtown by Racannellis (another not too bad pizza joint), and the other is at Clayton and Clarkson road in the shopping center there.  I'd have to say it's the best pizza in town right now.

Tim, I'm getting better, thanks!  Prolly at 75% right now.

You all need to accept that the midwest is a barren wasteland as far as any indigenous cuisine goes.  Kansas City and St Louis fighting over which one has the superior dining experience is like two backmarker novices arguing over which one is the next Rossi!

I've never ceased to be amazed at how Kansas City thinks that it invented and owns BBQ.  The rest of the world fully and rightfully acknowledges North Carolina's legitimate claim to BBQ as it's own.  The further away from NC, the more inferior the BBQ, until you get to Kansas City and find a slice of Wonder Bread covered in bland beef brisket with a little tomato sauce on top.

If you're going provoke people, provoke them!!

Werd.  KC BBQ is the 'pits'. However, the best BBQ ever passed my lips was in the Memphis airport. and I've spent a fair bit of time in NC. Its about as faux as KC, just vinegar based and served with a real southern accent instead of an inner city attitude. and  if you haven't eaten on the Hill, maybe you ought to before you slam STL cuisine.

As far as 'sports' STL kicks KC up and down the block. When it comes to racing, though...... I dunnnnnoooooo.... I guess we will have to seeeee. :D

I've eaten at the Hill several times (Beth grew up in St Louis so we've spent a bit of time there).  I actually like St Louis every bit as much as KC (although the the well defined social stratification makes me a little uncomfortable, thankfully I've not encountered that in KC).  I still don't understand Kansas City's proprietary attitude towards BBQ.

You coming to the party tomorrow night?
