I know the bump is 400 points and a bunch of other ways (which i didnt acheive haha) but is the bump 400 points total or after the adjusted points with performance index factored in? I got like 500 points this year but my adjusted to about 360 points and I we want to race expert next year but dont know if we can.

Thanks a lot, God Bless

Eddie,

If you want to race Expert next year you have the points. They go by actual points not adjusted for Bump, in addition even if you only had 360 and wanted to go you could write Eric and ask.

You can request a bump to expert.  It will likely be accepted because you have demonstrated your ability by your consistant finishing positions.  Welcome to the expert ranks!!!

Eddie - You are more then ready to race with the Experts... It will make you faster too... I say go for it and don't ever look back - You'll be happier in the long run and prolly suprise yourself with what you are able to do... Yes you'll have to step up your game a bit - But you know where you need to set your sights - At least in the lightweight class...If you are still gonna ride the SV - You need to be aiming for Ed - As far as your new 600 - One step at a time.... Look at it like trying to eat an elephant - You gotta do it one bite at a time :)

Back to the SV tho - every year Guy and Ed build some crazy parts that no one else has - Maybe this season they won't....... Yeah RIGHT   :)

Eddie,
You are already fast enough to be an expert.  You will learn more being out of the track with the experts.  If nothing else it will teach you to be humble (believe me I know)  I would highly recommend that you stick with your SV.  If you really have to ride a 600, I would postpone it for one season.  The 600 class contains the highest skill density (Most fast guys per square foot of racetrack) of any other class in the midwest.  If you leave the fast guys the slightest opening, they will take it.  They are all clean, but the passes sometimes are very tight, they are depending on you dealing with that an not freaking out.  I don't know what your comfort level is with this sort of thing, so you be the judge.  Best of luck to you next year.

Since Guy is crazy too the parts just seem normal to him.

What is it that Storck calls you...."Professional Shit Disturber"  Man you really live up to that.  LOL

The truth is, I have purchased a new home and I don't have any time to make any crazy parts yet.  I still have a few "minor" improvements for next year.  Now I just have to hope I can afford to go racing.

Anyone out there looking for a home in Lake Mills, WI?  just give me ping and we can work out the details.
