Classes to match new DMG rules?

Just wondering if CCS (or other clubs) have had any discussion of modifying some of the classes to resemble the new DMG rules. IE letting a KTM Superduke in Middleweight?

Thoughts everyone? -Snack

Well, if the AMA is going to have a dyno limit...

They certainly will be enforcing a different rules package.  Hard to enforce some of the things that DMG can afford or is willing to afford to build a spectator series.

I would not expect a dyno for club racing unless it was for a national class.  Seemed hard enough to get entries in CCS's regional Sportbike event years ago with only a weight limit, and there was actually a purse attached to that too at every regional event.

And HBD.  No reply from you on Facebook.

I haven't had the opportunity to go over the rules with a fine tooth comb but the only classes I saw with a HP limit were Moto-GT classes.

I didn't even see a HP limit on the Supersport class, you know that kid's class, the one I can't run because I'm more that twice their age

Did I miss something?

I didn't read much on dyno limits other than on GT, but if they are still negotiating...

The tire deal was in the millions, but at least there'd be return in teams buying tires.  It is interesting, certainly.

I might finesse some stuff to match their equipment rules but overall Superstock should still be legal for what they're proposing.
