That was awesome.

But I don't think you remember it.     Probably a good thing.

Not much. Remember getting pinched at the edge of the track, next thing standing next to the crash truck. Then got an ambulance ride to the hospital.

Nevermind - I was there for that......  But I'm sure I can speak for Brian - It's not quite as fun as it looks in the pictures.....

Hey Brian,
Those were some scary photos in RRW.  It looked like you were trying to bum a lift there for a second. :lmao:

I think it was almost a reach around.

Sorry, Brian, I had to.  Glad you're good.

Actually RRW got a few things incorrect.

First I am not riding a Honda - better dead than ride red.

Second, my brake lever did not hit his bike. I was originally on the other side of Josh's bike. My front wheel was along side his rear wheel in the braking area when he decided to move over. RRW did not publish these photos. In the second, we have already made contact, note the angle of Josh's bike. As I tried to move around the rear of the bike, our wheels made contact (I was still on the right) and my bike stood up on its nose. Difficult to hit my brake lever when I was to the right of the other bike.

Third, I received a severe concussion (as per the doctor in Alabama) from which I am not fully recovered. As this point I have no plans to race motorcycles again. I emailed RRW this information. RRW never contacted me to ask my condition.  I know Josh broke his femur and dislocated his hip. My idea of serious injury and theirs is not the same.

Brian, wow. When did this happen? Glad you are mostly OK. Head injuries are scary stuff.

I'm with Paul, Brian.  Head things suck, and I didn't know you were out of the game so harshly.  I think you're connected well enough as a racing family, and with other families, that you'll still be a part of the community.  I think that's important.
