Well, the open wheel racing analogy was not apples and oranges. We might be in for a bumpy ride at the pro levels for a few years. Sucks, but true.

The AMA series will win out in the end.  They have the FIM status, and they have actual racing experience, and they even own some facilities.

I think the worst part is that, really, the individuals that have been part of the series are the real losers with the MIC doing this.  This is my opinion, but, hell, what's that worth?  LOL!

Interesting that the MIC chooses a failed business model.  I understand the niche, but the number of true contenders is limited to like 12-15.  A few per manufacturer.  The other few hundred all fit quite nicely with DMG.
