Does anyone know what BHF's gate hours are (i.e., how late can one come and go, etc.)?  Also, what is the paddock situation with respect to garages, electric, parking, RV's, etc?

Thanks in advance!

Some people roll in around midnight fridays. Theres USUALLY someone at the gate. I usually get there sat mornings at 6am to start setting up the corner stations for the weekend. Had a few racers roll in behind me.

Garages. Pretty sure those are already reserved for the year. Only 4 or 5 of them anyways.

Electrcity. Think its $20-25/weekend but dont quote me on that. May wanna bring a generator if you have one.

Parking. Theres ALOT of space but most everyone crams themselves near the pavillion, pit out and old tech area. Most areas theres plenty of room for RV's but wherever you set up your paddock, make sure NOTHING is on any of the access roads. No paddocking bikes on the road surfaces. The access roads are narrow and it can be "interesting" for me to get the crash truck through with the trailer sometimes when people park their bikes on the road surface (includes pitbikes and spectator bikes).

Pitbikes MUST be registered with the track to use them.

Speed limit is 15mph. But in the area of "Buell Alley" (after you cross the track surface coming into the track theres a bunch of Buell guys paddocked along both sides) really slow down to 10 Theres usually little kids on push scooters and generally playing.

One thing to remember when you go out on the racebike. Coming out of pit lane you MUST stay to the right of the line that runs down the front straight to turn 1. Dont cross it or you will be black flagged.

The PA system there can be iffy at times and hard to hear in some spots.

Electric is only in a couple areas.  Doing the team challenge, expect to try to set your trailer and everything up right against the pit road.  The gate will be open 24/7 from probably 4PM this afternoon.

Great info guys, thanks.  Two additional questions:

-Is the paddock area paved or concrete, or is it dirt?
-Are there showers?

I will probably be rolling in with the rest of the crowd, around midnight tomorrow, so I'm glad to hear that the gates should be open.

Showers and the bathroom...nice.  Just redone.

Paddock is mostly grassy areas with paved access roads.  Some chipseal in places.
