Ok, fine, i'll borrow a 600 for the next round and the outcome won't be any different...
It's not the bike, sometimes the rider is just faster, plain and simple...make sure u tell ur friend

Remember...have fun and enjoy every second! Life is to precious to take for granted!

If it's all about the rider then there is no problem in getting rid of the 1098 from F40 and putting it with the UL classes. Isn't that world Superbike does??

Yeah, umm it's not his first year racing...you also sound like you've never raced at Miami-Homestead speedway where every other 1098 is a 1098r and a few ex-WSB's mixed in for good measure. He has no problem being beaten by a better rider, as I'm sure none of us would but when you have a 15 to 20 bike length lead on 2nd place and watch the guy ride around you at the line, it's pretty sad. Oh well we got our reply from Mr. Kelcher, rules will stay as they are for this year...Thanks for the all input guys/gals..

I was wondering why my 750 was so slow compared to yours, I'm missing about 15-20hp  :wah:
Yup, I'm with you.

I really hope this doesn't come across wrong but how about letting females of any age in F40? We could call it the FF40 class? -Snack

What, me?
Seriously, would be nice to have a few more bikes on the grids. Btw to all the women who run the (hopefully) new FF40 class you will receive a free "No Bill" sticker.

MILF F40?  That's terrible, Snack...I can't believe you PMed me that...

Time to build a 791 motor.......

Anyone who watched F40 at RoC knows that there is no comparison between a 1098R and ANY 750, even if it's an FX build.  Granted that the 1098R had a great rider on board, the fact is that they are two bikes that belong in totally different classes.  The proposition that a 1098R, with 1198cc of displacement, liquid cooling, multi-valves, OHC's, is a heavyweight bike is preposterous.  Hallelujah that CCS changed that rule for 2009.

Heck, the 1098R is competitive with in-line 4 litre bikes...what do you think that it'll do to a 750?
