On the WERA board, there's a thread going on about a race track thief.

While these kinds of things can happen, I have felt that when I had a race track thief do me in.  My stuff was in a special spot, only three of my cards were taken leaving me to think that I had only lost them, and the window for taking my stuff and two other people's stuff was so small...I always wondered if someone traveled around doing something like this exclusively.

Here's a youtube vid also of the Miller thief.

And there's a thought that he was seen at an AFM race.

come to homestead it's the thieving capital of the world   it's so bad someone always stays in the garage while i'm on the track and we have to pack everything up on sat. night. moroso can be bad too.i think the problem is there's a hallway in the garages you can walk through tha makes it easy togo through someones stuff  although it's not much better in the parking lot.

GSXR RACER MIKE

I can only imagine what would happen to this guy if he was caught stealing by the racers while at the track.

I can see the headline:

A thief met his match at the Motorcycle Roadrace held outside of town this last weekend after someone saw him going thru racers trailers while they were all at their morning riders meeting. The quick thinking witness hurried over to the riders meeting and interupted it by telling everyone what was happening, needless to say the riders meeting was instantly postponed as all 93 racers at the meeting shot across the paddock and found the thief. Details are sketchy after that, but somehow the thiefs testicles were severed and ended up in his own stomach, also unclear is how the man's penis was severed and ended up in his own butt. The racer's have all joined together to try and find who may have done this to the thief, but no information has emerged yet.  :thumb:

Ballsy move to be stealing while other riders are out racing.  Guess we all need to be letting our neighbors know to keep any eye on our stuff while we are out.

I was at a motocross race years ago where a guy was caught stealing. I recall people yelling about catching a thief as people were running through the pit area grabbing just about anything at hand. The police arrived just in time to rescue the thief.
