Yeah they are sponsored by NESBA and are control riders.  lol

Its cheaper to do the RA day, i don't need to do buy a membership, and i can take one less day off work. I find it amusing that the only people i have ever heard say good things about NESBA were control riders for them.  :) And it ain't been just on this forum.

Oh boy, here we go again!

The 2nd annual bashing of NESBA before R.A. thread! :)

The test day I believe is 4,25 min. sessions at 175 bucks,if you sign up after June 26th,it's 225.The NESBA days are 7,20 min. sessions.

There's pros and cons either way: RA practice day - It's race practice with your competitors, with race rules, the day before the event starts, and there's less time off for travelers. NESBA day - Amateur plates usually have to run "I" group with trackday passing rules, and expert plates can usually get "A" group. You can ask for help from the CRs though if you want, many of whom are very fast, so there's some instruction available and you can potentially learn the track better than figuring it out on your own. It'll cost you $185 +$75 Membership fee. That's $1.75 per minute on track vs. $1.85 per minute. I think that's pretty even. (If I did the math right, I admit to sucking with numbers)

Is that cost per minute accounting for tires and gas?

Cause if you're not going race pace, I think the cost per minute will be less...

:whine:Yeah I hear ya,I already signed up for Teus.,and I did  it early.Last year there was no test day,so i figured the Advanced group would sell out quickly, now I find out there IS a test day.....oh well...see you there.

No, it doesn't include other costs. I ride a turd bike that tops out at 116mph and goes through two sets of tires in a whole season, so I'm the wrong person to ask.  :lmao:

If you're running in Advanced though, I'm sure you'd be pretty close to race pace.

Yeah,'A' pace there is fast, and you can pass on the inside too!!Can you believe it!!

I'm not real interested in participating in a NESBA bashing thread.

HOWEVER, as a NESBA CR and a CCS racer, I am interesting in helping other CCS racers that choose to come out to the NESBA events.

That being said, if you feel like you should be in the Advanced group but you do not have an Expert license, I will gladly evaluate you personally during the first Intermediate session to ensure you are not "stuck with track day passing rules".

Again, I'm not gonna try and defend NESBA and its policies and procedures.  I am well aware that many of you hate NESBA.  However, if you want to participate in the NESBA dates then I will gladly work with you in anyway that I can.
