is there one? I can't find the info on their site (which takes 10 min to load) about a track day before. I would hate to show up the day of and find it sold out. ::)

somebody post up a link

oh, and how hard are they on pitbikes? I saw lots of hard language about "impounding" and other things. Anybody have any experience?

in another thread.  The "Test Day" is on the 3rd, the day before the Festival of Speed begins with the ASRA Team Challenge, CCS GT, and ASRA qualifying events.

I believe that the pre-entry deadline is the 25th of June, a week from this coming Wed.

Thanks for all of the input guys (and gals). I'm wondering how much value a $175 "practice" day will be when I'll be getting 3 sessions per morning and ASRA practice courtesy of CCS. Factor in tires and fuel, it's a

Is this track really hard to learn? I heard it's fast, but not super technical. How is it on tires so I know how many to bring for a 600 with 3 races and ASRA SBK and ASRA Sportbike over the weekend. What say ye, Mid West racers?

Farrell and red900, Why should he only do NESBA?  The RA Test Day is immediately preceding the ASRA/CCS event, so for those of us who are traveling to get there then perhaps that's one or two days fewer that we need to be off from work and away from home, if we can be there just 1 day early instead of 2 or 3 days early.  Is there some dis-advantage to the Test Day about which we who are not local to RA should be aware?  Thanks.

Yeah they are sponsored by NESBA and are control riders.  lol

Its cheaper to do the RA day, i don't need to do buy a membership, and i can take one less day off work. I find it amusing that the only people i have ever heard say good things about NESBA were control riders for them.  :) And it ain't been just on this forum.

Im pretty sure Mr. Farrell is not a control rider for NESBA but an AMA PRO RIDER.  I thought the RA day was a bit expensive for limited track time and a lot of traffic (assuming).  I do understand the extra days off though.  You could always do what I did last year at most tracks I went to.... add a GTO or GTU to your list of races w/practice.  Im sure you can figure out the track with that much time.
