starter race bike

hi i just got in to racing and have borrowing friends bikes.  so i raced mostly middleweight classes and i think i like that.  i am considering buying my friends bike that i borrow a few times now because i lik it but that deal might not hapen so i am keeping my option. if anyone has a good starter middleweight for sale please let me know. i just got startd so i am still slow and do not need anything to fast or good just something basic but good enough for me to improve so that it wouldnt hold me back. than i will buy something really good after this season or when ever i get good enough to use something better.

I have a 98 GSXR 600 for sale.  IF you go to craigs list and look under northern Va, you will see the pics and all the extras that is listed.  The sale price is $2000.00 firm.  Most of the callers are wanting to convert it back to street because it has a title.  After visiting the site, call me if you are interested.  Racers gets first shot at purchasing the bike.
