I have sent a few suits to Lizzy Leathers for various repairs, cleaning, modifications, and most recently I sent a suit that I had been wearing during a high-speed highside.  It had been basically undamaged prior to that crash, but as a result it had a few small holes and some black marks from the asphalt.

I sent it to Lizzy for repair, and when I got them back some of the marks were still there.  There was also an envelope in the box with a note explaining that she tried but couldn't get enough of the marks out to be satisfied with the result because they were "burnt in."  Since she was not satisfied with the result, she enclosed a check with a partial refund of my payment for the work that she felt she was unable to complete.

I thought that was really cool of her, to proactively criticise her own work and take responsibility by not accepting full payment.  We hadn't really agreed before hand what defined a successful "repair" job and so she was the one who held herself to a higher standard.

That was really cool of her and I just wanted to let everyone here know what a straight shooter and good businesswoman she is.
