He's Josh Hayes. THat's why. No really if one of us try and show up at tech like that what do you think they will do?

Isn't Jennings races run by CCS Florida?

If so you would have to contact them.

wasn't there a post about this over the winter where people wanted to do that have one single number on the rear?

CCS Florida runs under the same rules as CCS i do believe

but the Florida guys are too busy picking on Jason about amateur payouts

It was a question posed in the new rules for this year and it was reaffirmed that this would not be allowed in 08 or in the foreseeable future...

It's not like the scorers are going to have to figure out what the number is in a pack of bikes because he really isn't going to be in a pack of bikes.

Additionally, I don't know that he's too interested in collecting any CCS wood or contingency certs, so fine, DQ him.

so the fast guys can do what ever they want because they are fast?
if his bike don't meet tech it shouldn't be out there in  the first place to be DQ

So does anyone know if tech let him slide for the one event telling him to have it fixed by the next time he showed there?  Or are you jumping to conclusions?

You mean like his 4th place finish in Unlimited GP, where he was in several packs as he picked his way to the front after starting in the last row?  I'm not saying that he's not head and shoulders above the rest at an event like that, but circumstances such as post-entering and gridding last will ensure that even rider who is much faster than the rest of the field will at some point be in a pack as he picks his way through traffic, etc.

Mongo

Josh is just cooler than you, get over it :)
