OK.

I know some of those Pirelli official lab coat wearing Poindexters have written a really cool white paper on the Diablo Supercorsa DOT race tire's designed operating temperature ranges.  I'll bet it is filled with all kinds of cool geek speak with a distinctive and refreshing lack of dumb it down for management style graphs.

But for some reason, I just can't find said white paper anywhere!!

Maybe I just suck at the Internets.  Can some of you Internets guru's point me to a link of this highly coveted white paper?

Don't tell me it doesn't exist, it has to exist.  What else are these Poindexters doing everyday?

BTW, please don't try and tell me what tire pressures you run.  Thanks!

It would be nice to see these kind of write ups for all the tires out there.  I know I saw a tire comparison article in a magazine recently.  I might have it laying around somewhere, but I don't think it got into any specifics about operating temps.

30 front 27 rear,  Except at putnam  there it is 50 front 50 rear....  especially if you forget to check your tire pressures after a tire change...

I think you are looking for a 10% change, cold to hot.

This is about all i've found too. Page 7 of the pdf has some operating temps, but its not very specific about temps.

Your pressures will vary greatly between bikes and also riding style, the track, and track surface temp. Ask the Pirelli vendor what pressures for which tire as a baseline. During practice, put someone on hot pit with a tire guage and have them check your pressure and then regulated them from there. I don't usually have anyone with me and I'm a slacker to ask or bother anyone so i just run 31f 28-29r on an sv650. Some guys run the front a bit higher since the sv is kind of light and doesn't generated enought heat in the front to put 31. Your really need someone to check your pressure when you come right off the track, not when you get back to your pit.
