How do you Remove the Key/Ignition on R6

What is the proper way of removing the Key/Ignition Switch on and 03 R6 and replace it with a toggle switch.  I had a pretty good crash last year and almost broke the key off in the ignition and really don't want that to happen again.

I can explain how to do this on a g1 and g2 SV but never got around to doing on my R6.  Suggest you search the R6 forum - race section.
