Not sure how many of you are in the Kansas City area but for those of you who are we have a representative coming to town to demonstrate the Bazzaz Z-Fi Traction Control unit to dealers in the area.  We've arranged for him to do a demo session for racers on Thursday, Feb 7.  We'll start at 7:00.  Ron from Bazzaz will be running a bike on our dyno to show the actual operation of the traction control and the engine management interface.

A lot of you may not have heard of Bazzaz but go to www.bazzazperformance.com and you can learn more.  The Bazzaz Z-Fi is a fuel injector control system, a Quick Shift system and a Traction Control system, all integrated into one unit. I can tell you that I was very impressed when we installed an early unit on a GSXR1k in October to test it at HPT.

If you have any questions, give me a call at the shop (816-221-0711); otherwise, come on down on Feb 7.

That dude has some very innovative ideas... some trick stuff I've only seen on factory bikes.  If anyone attends that can post here, please let us know what you thought of the demo.

I was just out in CA 3 weeks ago at Bazzaz's and saw the units first hand.....one of the coolest things I've ever seen!  From just the fuel injection box to the full on box with a quickshift and traction control.  This will definitely help the everyday club racer and trackday guy.

I'm a partner in www.OnTheThrottle.tv and we are going to shoot video for the product next weekend in CA.  The video will be available for downloads and and posted on the websites and forums for free.  It will be a great aid for dealers and enthusiasts and will cover installation, how to use it and all of the other stuff you want to know about the unit.

Bazzaz has 3 different boxes:
1) Just a fuel injection box that runs off of all 8 injectors....this is huge for the new bikes and retails at $399.

2) Fuel injection box with the quickshifter....I forgot the retail on it.

3) Fuel injection, quickshifter and traction control....there is also an add on accessory for the handlebar that allows you to switch between two maps on the fly and a dial to change the traction control on the fly....retail $999

The great thing is everything plugs right into the stock wiring harnesses and is super simple to work with...really cutting edge stuff.

Units will be available in early February and Tucker Rocky is the sole distributor. ....we (Safety First Racing) will carry them at our race shop and can map them on our dyno.

Ammar will be at the Indy Dealer Show in the Tucker Rocky booth to answer questions and our video will be playing as well.  We just tested a box at Fontana a few weeks ago and Bobby liked the traction control.

Fortunately, I get to see a lot of cool stuff with a having a race team but I must say his product really blew me away from the basic box to the traction control and ease of how everything works.

Plus....we will be using the Bazzaz traction control units on our AMA racebikes this year so people are more than welcome to contact us for input and info regarding it.

The regular fuel injection module is stil a great deal as well for the enthusiasts because of it's tunability.  The advantage it has over the Powercommander is its simply and works off of all 8 injectors instead of 4.
